On Saturday, we return to the familiar Redwood forest of Huddart Park where Robert Rhodes of Bay Trail Runners joins us to introduce his upcoming trail event/race. Robert is putting together a new and enthusiastic trail event series & his upcoming Whiskey Hill Redwood Run is in Huddart Park on March 22nd. Robert will treat us to an inside view of the course as we run the event route as he joins us in our run.
As encouragement for a bunch of us to join in his event, Robert has offered a 10% discount to all PARC members. For those who join in the trail run, he will bump the discount to 15%.
Huddart Park is blessed with awesome and extensive Redwood Groves. Our routes go thru these with the Half Marathon route then taking us to the top of the Skyline Ridge. Or you can opt for the 10k route with far less elevation gain (much of the beauty tho!).
Arrive at the park gate no later than 8:05am, to allow time to pay the parking fee of $8 (exact change or a check made out to San Mateo County) and fill out the pay envelope. After introductions and a brief description by Robert of his event and the route, we start running at 8:30.
We gather at the Zwierlin parking area.
How to get there Follow this Google Maps route, or set your GPS to lat=37.441593, lon=-122.290792. Should anyone wish to car pool (to share the admission fee) then I suggest meeting behind the Woodside Town Center where there is usually ample and always free parking with no time limit. You can find the parking lot here: https://goo.gl/maps/hlQ4B

Pls bring a water bottle.
After the run we will have a runners potluck by the benches at the Zwierlin parking area. We will be running during Pi second 3/14/15 9:26:53. Perhaps an inspiration for your contribution to the potluck??
