Edgewood and Pulgas Ridge Wildflowers
Sunday, April 14, 2013
In April, we are introducing a new run at nearby Edgewood County Park and Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve. Edgewood is one of the premier wildflower locations, and we have tried to time this run to experience the peak of the season.
When Sunday, April 14, 2013. Meet at 8:05am for an 8:15am start. There is limited parking available, and the lot will likely fill to capacity well before 8:30. If there are no parking slots left, you can try parking at Pulgas Ridge OSP off Edmonds Road (see map below). There is no parking fee.
Where Edgewood County Park, Main Entrance.
What A 7 mile medium route through Edgewood with an optional 4 mile long route extension through Pulgas Ridge (11 miles total). Printed trail maps (like the ones below) will be available at the start of the run. This is a remote trail run and each runner must carry at least one water bottle. To avoid having to search for lost runners we ask every runner to find other runners of approximately the same running ability to form a group. As usual, there will be a potluck after the run, so please bring food or drink to share
