For our last trail run of the year, in the convivial spirit of the Holiday Season, PARC's Monthly Trail Run joins The Stevens Creek Striders for a romp on their namesake trails in Steven's Creek County Park. The Striders run these trails every Saturday morning and are looking forward to us joining them. They typically have 15 or more runners and so it will be a nice group with a variety of paces and goals. Walkers welcome also!

After the run The Striders brunch at the Cupertino Hobbies on Stevens Creek Blvd. We are also welcome to join them there. They typically start arriving there about 10:15am.

When Saturday December 17, 2016. Meet at 8:20am for an 8:30am (sharp!) start. 

Where the parking lot next to the Dam at the Stevens Creek Reservoir on Stevens Canyon Rd. You must pay for parking there unless you can find space on the roadside. Here's the Google Maps location of the gathering spot - https://goo.gl/maps/dFE97cgtgDS2. As this trailhead is close by, no club organized carpool this month.

What The Striders announce the specific route at the pre-run gathering with routes of between 5 and 12 miles. You can find their typical routes here - Zinfandel - Lookout Loop (8mi). They are good at sticking together in several smaller like paced groups.

As these are remote trail runs, each runner is encouraged to carry at least one water bottle. To avoid having to search for lost runners we ask that runners of approximately the same ability and ambition form groups and be accountable for group members.
