In December, PARC's Monthly Trail Run takes advantage of the cooling weather to return high spine of the Peninsula for this run up to the top of Black Mountain where 360-degree panoramic views stretch from the Bay out to the Pacific. The run then returns via the beautiful (and shady) Stevens Creek Nature Trail. Then a mile or so into the Los Trancos OSP to wonder at a stretch on the San Andreas fault.
Meet at 8:20am for an 8:30am start. Carpools will leave promptly at 8:00am from the Park&Ride lot at 280 and Page Mill Road. Drive up Page Mill carefully, lotsa slow moving bikers on the way up.
Trailhead is at Monte Bello OSP. There is no parking fee.

This is a remote trail run and each runner must carry at least one water bottle. To avoid having to search for lost runners we ask every runner to find other runners of approximately the same running ability to form a group. As usual, there will be a potluck after the run, so please bring food or drink to share.
Note: RSVP for PARC running events is appreciated, tho, in general, not required. Typically 10-25 runners, with a variety of paces, join in PARC's Monthly Trail Runs.
