David Flexo will co-lead this run, these are some of his favorite trails. I will be walking and would welcome company for that.

 

As bit of a special prelude to this Sunday's Trail Run (Arastradero & Foothill Parks, 2/16, 8:20am) we'll be snapping a group photo with a purpose. You see, Zachi has been selected to represent Palo Alto at Palo Alto's sister-city's (Tsuchiura, Japan) Marathon in April! Zachi says:

 

> > I would like to take a picture of the PARC people (& PARC banner)

> > holding the Palo Alto flag, and maybe also US/Japan flags, as sign

> > of friendship.

> > If the picture is really good, we might make it into a plaque that

> > will be given from the City of Palo Alto, and PARC, to the Mayor 

> > of Tsichiura.

 

So, a little extra incentive to join this Sunday's trail run at, fittingly, Palo Alto's premier park system. Wear your PARC clothes on Sunday & represent! 

 

Also, if you're good with a camera then pls bring your gear and help us by snapping a great group shot. And maybe some pix during the run too...

Oh cool! Several members of the Bay Area Japanese Runners are interested in running with us on Sunday.

They plan to bring a Japanese flag and few other things that represent Japan.

Tatsuru says, "I will be running Tokyo marathon in a few weeks, so I will join 7.3mile route."
